This package could be purchased online before sailing (at a discounted price) or during the first two days of the cruise. And, you had the chance to try out the arcade before you purchased. As long as you purchased the package within the first 2 days of the cruise, the unlimited play would apply retroactively and remove the charges from your account. Throughout the week activities included a variety of ball games, obstacle courses, competitions against counselors, mystery challenges and different versions of game shows.

One of my favorite things about Norwegian Cruise Line vessels, including the Norwegian Bliss, is the copious amount of outdoor spaces that allow guests to take in the beautiful ocean views. One of my personal favorite areas onboard many Norwegian Cruise Line ships, including the Norwegian Bliss and the Norwegian Getaway, is The Waterfront. On Norwegian Bliss, guests can choose between 11 complimentary dining options. They can also experience new flavors at signature specialty restaurants, such as Le Bistro, La Cucina, Cagney’s Steakhouse and Bayamo by James Beard Award-winning chef Jose Garces.
However, they do not include absolutely everything onboard. Some of the most popular activities onboard Norwegian Bliss come at an additional cost for guests to participate in. Burn rubber at the race track and then challenge your friends or family to some friendly competition on the Aqua Racer.
Get a Spa Treatment at Sea
Even if all of the above is enough to keep you and your entire family entertained, you can still find even more for the kids to enjoy, courtesy of the ship’s children’s programming. The huge, 1,000-foot-long racetrack extends over two levels and accommodates 10 cruisers at once. You can race around the track at up to 30 miles per hour, so there are sure to be some thrills. The highly-rated shows include some of your favorite Broadway hits, like Jersey Boys. Other options include a burlesque-style musical with a prohibition theme, a Beatles cover band and stand-up comedy.

With the exception of the first night, the ship offered movies by the pool each night. But, for the most part, these movies were all PG-13, with the exception of one night designated as “family” movie night where the ship screened Christopher Robin. The other screenings included films such as Crazy Rich Asians, Lion, Lincoln and Wonder Woman. Throughout the rest of the day, the club provided a variety of rotating age-based themed programs. That same day, the theme in both the Seals room and the Dolphins room was “Survivors at Sea” but each room had a different schedule of activities. We visited the Waterfront at various points of the day and found it delightful.

Norwegian Bliss features a galactic-themed open-air laser tag arena. There's an extra cost for playing, but the experience delivers a fun time for all. Norwegian's Observation Lounge on deck 15 provides the most expansive views at sea. You'll find it at the front of the ship, an experience that offers the same vistas you usually get at the bridge.
